Cowboy Frosty

We were stranded at home this year over Christmas due to a winter storm. Our planned trip to visit both sets of grandparents over the holidays was put on hold. Instead of hiding under the covers and sobbing, we made the best of it by getting outside and enjoying the snow. One of our projects on Christmas Day turned into Cowboy Frosty. Cowboy Frosty watched over us that day, and the many cold winter days that followed. The boys said good-bye or hello to him whenever we drove past, and he became our winter mascot.

After a few weeks of miserably cold temperatures that were fit only for snowmen, we were finally able to get outside and play. Poor Cowboy Frosty never knew what hit him. I am not sure what happened to turn him from lovable friend to snow pinata, but I do know his demise was quick, and presumably painless. Witness the horrible aftermath below.
